Myitkyina

Myitkyina is the capital of Kachin State in Northern Myanmar. The population of the city is around 150,000 and includes an ethnic mix of Bamar, Kachin and ethnic Indians.

Monywa is a city in Sagaing Region, Myanmar, located 136 kilometres north-west of Mandalay on the eastern bank of the River Chindwin. Monywa is one of the most economically important cities in Myanmar.
Bhamo

Bhamo, historically known as Manmaw or Hsinkai is a city in Kachin State in northern Myanmar, 186 km south of the state capital. It is on the Ayeyarwady River.

Putao is a town in Kachin State, Myanmar and the principal town in Putao Township. The area around Putao is famous for its variety of birds and rare orchids, especially the so-called "Black Orchid" found in the mountains surrounding Putao.
Katha

Katha is a town in Sagaing Region, Northern Myanmar. Its claim to fame in the English-speaking world is its connection to author George Orwell, who was stationed here as a colonial policeman from 1926–7.

Tamu is a town of 44,000 people in Northern Myanmar near the border with the eastern Indian state of Manipur. Tamu is something of a transport hub for cross-border traffic to India, being just across the border from Moreh.Laiza
