Gulu is an important city in Northern Uganda. It's the economic centre of the region, has some useful facilities for travellers and a handful of historic attractions.
Lira

Lira is a city in the Northern Region of Uganda. It serves as the main urban center of the Lango sub-region. On July 1, 2020, Lira was officially elevated to city status as part of Uganda's government plan to create new cities across the country.

Murchison Falls National Park

Murchison Falls National Park is in Northern Uganda. The park covers approximately 3840 km², and the River Nile passes through. Rabonga Forest in the southeast has large populations of chimps and the Nile has a lot of hippopotamuses and crocodiles.
Kidepo Valley National Park

Kidepo Valley National Park is in northeast Uganda. It covers 1436 km² and borders onto South Sudan. Less discovered by tourists, Kidepo Valley protects unique flora and fauna that is quite different from other Ugandan national parks.
Pakwach
Pakwach is a town in the Northern Region of Uganda. It is the main commercial, political and administrative center of Pakwach District. In the 19th century the town came under brief occupation by the Ottoman branch of the Khedivate of Egypt, as part of Hatt-ı Üstuva Vilayet.Ajai Game Reserve
