Urban Municipality of Nova Gorica
Town hall
The Urban Municipality of Nova Gorica is a municipality in the traditional region of the Slovene Littoral in western Slovenia. The seat of the municipality is the city of Nova Gorica. Nova Gorica became a municipality in 1994. It borders Italy.
Solkan Bridge

The Solkan Bridge is a 219.7-meter arch bridge over the Soča River near Nova Gorica in western Slovenia. With an arch span of 85 meters, it is the world's longest stone arch railroad bridge.

Nova Gorica Sports Park is a multi-purpose sports venue in Nova Gorica, Slovenia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of ND Gorica. The stadium was built in 1964 and has a capacity of 3,100 seats.

Soča or Isonzo is a 138-kilometre long river that flows through western Slovenia and northeastern Italy. An Alpine river in character, its source lies in the Trenta Valley in the Julian Alps in northwestern Slovenia, at an elevation of 876 metres.
