Iloilo City is the provincial capital of Iloilo, on the island of Panay. The city is rich in history and culture, with well-preserved Spanish and American-era architecture — from churches to commercial buildings and the many ancestral houses scattered around the city.

Capiz, officially the Province of Capiz, is a province in the central part of the Western Visayas region of the Philippines. Capiz is located at the northeastern portion of Panay Island, bordering three other provinces, Aklan to the north, Antique to the west, and Iloilo to the south.
