Pau is a commune overlooking the Pyrenees, the prefecture of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of Southwestern France.
Bayonne

Bayonne is a town in Pyrénées-Atlantiques in the southwest corner of France, part of the Basque region straddling the border with Spain. It's part of the triple township of BAB, Biarritz-Anglet-Bayonne, which in 2021 had a population of 309,392, and as a tourist destination it's been overshadowed by the more famous Biarritz.

Saint-Jean-de-Luz

Saint-Jean-de-Luz & Ciboure are small towns at the mouth of the River Nivelle, near the border with Spain. St Jean, the larger, is east of the river and straight in front of the railway station, while Ciboure is a village some 500 m west across the river bridge - for practical purposes they're a single community.

Hendaye is the furthest point in the South West of France you can go, a frontier town with Hondarribia, Spain and confined on the edge of both the Atlantic Ocean and Pyrenees Mountains.
Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port

Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port is a town of 1,500 people in Pyrénées-Atlantiques, France. It is a common starting point for the French Way of the pilgrim route Camino de Santiago, to Santiago de Compostela in Galicia.
