Riga

Riga is the financial, creative, and cultural centre of Latvia. It is the capital and the largest city in Latvia, it is also the second largest city in the Baltic States after the Lithuanian capital Vilnius.
Jūrmala

Jūrmala is a state city in the Vidzeme region of Latvia, about 25 kilometres west of Riga. Jūrmala is a resort town stretching 32 km and is sandwiched between the Gulf of Riga and the Lielupe River.
Sigulda

Sigulda is administratively in the Riga region, however culturally a part of the Vidzeme region. It is a resort town just over an hour from Riga by train, featuring a wooded river valley containing forest walks, cable car, bobsleigh track, three castles and a former times rehabilitation centre featuring a hostel, all of which is manageable as a day visitor on foot.

Tukums

Tukums is a town in Latvia, some 70 kilometres to the west of Riga. It's also the birthplace of Samanta Tina, a semi-famous Latvian singer.
Limbaži

Limbaži is a small town of about 6900 inhabitants in northern Latvia, in what's defined by Wikivoyage as the Riga region. A former Hanseatic city with a residence of the Archbishop of Riga in the Middle Ages, most attractions are from a later times, still relatively few visitors find their way here.
Ķemeri National Park

Ķemeri National Park is a national park west of the city of Jūrmala, Latvia. The territory of the park is mostly occupied by forests and mires, the most significant of them being the Great Ķemeri Bog.
Salaspils

The Salaspils concentration camp memorial complex is in the Riga region, about 15 km southeast of Riga and is a memorial for the people who died there during the Nazi regime in Latvia.
