Kigali

Kigali is the capital of Rwanda. The centre of political and commercial life, Kigali dominates Rwanda and few visit the country without passing through.
Butare

Butare, also known as Huye, is the third largest city of Rwanda, located in the south. Butare is the capital of Butare district. It is said to have about 50,000 inhabitants.
Gisenyi

Gisenyi, historically rendered as Kisenyi, is the second largest city in Rwanda, located in the Rubavu district in Rwanda's Western Province. Gisenyi is contiguous with Goma as it was formerly also part of now Democratic Republic of the Congo, the city across the border in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Muhanga

Muhanga is a city in the Southern Province, Rwanda, though it is physically closer to the centre of the country, about 45 km southwest of Kigali at an elevation of about 1,800 m.
Kibuye

Kibuye is a city in western Rwanda on the shore of Lake Kivu — the surrounding area offers some stunning views of the lake. The new name is Karongi, most people still call it Kibuye though.
Nyungwe National Park

Nyungwe National Park is in Rwanda, and since 2023 a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is probably the best preserved rainforest in the mountains throughout Central Africa.

Volcanoes National Park is an extraordinary park in Rwanda, full of impressive tropical rainforest and volcanic scenery, trekking, and is perhaps the best place in the world to see the rare mountain gorillas.
Ruhengeri
Ruhengeri, also called Musanze, is a city in Northern Province of Rwanda's Musanze district and the second largest city in Rwanda, with a population of about 153,000.Cyangugu

Cyangugu is a city and capital of the Rusizi District in Western Province, Rwanda. The city lies at the southern end of Lake Kivu, and is contiguous with Bukavu, Democratic Republic of the Congo, but separated from it by the Ruzizi River.
Rwamagana

Rwamagana is the capital of the Rwamagana District and Rwanda's Eastern Province. In 2015, it was home to about 47,000 people.

Kibungo is a city of 46,000 people in eastern Rwanda, 100 km from Kigali, along the main road to Tanzania.
Akagera National Park

Akagera National Park is in the northeast of Rwanda measuring over 1,200 square km. After being decimated by high levels of poaching following the return of refugees and farmers after the 1994 Genocide, the park has been revived and is now the only 'Big 5' reserve in the country.
