Moundou

Moundou is the second-largest city in Chad and is the capital of the region of Logone Occidental. The city lies on the Mbéré River some 475 kilometres south of the capital N'Djamena.

Sahr, formerly Fort Archambault, is a city in Soudanian Chad, the capital of the Moyen-Chari region. The city is named for the Sara people.

Bongor is a city of 30,000 people in Soudanian Chad, on the eastern bank of the Logone River near the Chadian-Cameroon border.

Zakouma National Park

Zakouma National Park is a 3,000-km² protected area in the south of Chad. Since management of the park was taken over by African Parks, in partnership with the Chadian government, this park has seen a resurgence of wildlife and has brought tourism to a beautifully unique but rarely visited part of the world.
