Pelotas is a municipality in the extreme south of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil's southernmost state, on the west of Lagoa dos Patos. The city is known as the National Capital of Sweets and has important European-style buildings.

Rio Grande is the oldest city in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul, the most important port city in the state and has one of the most important maritime ports in Brazil. It's also the former state capital from 1835 to 1845.

Jaguarão is a municipality in the southern Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul located on the shores of the Jaguarão River, bordering Uruguay. It lies a short distance inland from the Mirim Lagoon.

São Lourenço do Sul is a Brazilian municipality in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. The municipality had 43,111 inhabitants in the last Census. Its population in 2020 was estimated in 43,540 inhabitants.

Chuí is in the state of Rio Grande do Sul in the South of Brazil, at the border with Uruguay. It's right across the street from its sister town of Chuy, Uruguay.
