Mogadishu

Baidoa is the largest city in Southern Somalia and the state capital of Bay Region, with a population of 1.2 million in 2022. Baidoa is a war zone, so travel here is dangerous.

Baraawe, also known as Barawe or Brava, is a port town on the Indian Ocean in Southern Somalia that was as reknown as Mogadishu during a golden age period around the 15th century.
