Springfield is the third largest city in the state of Missouri, with a population of more than 168,000, and more than 462,000 in the metro area. It is also known as the Queen City of the Ozarks, and the birthplace of Route 66.

Joplin is in Southwest Missouri. It's mentioned in the song "Route 66". Joplin is the "hub" of the southwest corner of Missouri, southeast Kansas, and northeast Oklahoma.

Marshfield is a city in and the county seat of Webster County, Missouri. As of the 2020 census, Marshfield had a population of 7,458. As of 2024, the population is estimated to be 7,935. It is part of the Springfield, Missouri, metropolitan area.

Branson is in the Ozarks and the southwest region Missouri. Today it is sometimes referred to as a "family-friendly Las Vegas" because of the many shows and attractions, the flashy building decorations, and the neon lights.
