Kazan

Kazan is the largest city and capital of Tatarstan, Russia. The city lies at the confluence of the Volga and the Kazanka Rivers, covering an area of 425.3 square kilometres, with a population of over 1.3 million residents, and up to nearly 2 million residents in the greater metropolitan area.
Naberezhnye Chelny

Naberezhnye Chelny is in Tatarstan, on the banks of the River Kama. It is the second largest city in Tatarstan after Kazan, with a population over 500,000.
Sviyazhsk

Sviyazhsk is a city in Tatarstan, 30 km from Kazan. The territory of Sviyazhsk is a museum-reserve of federal significance, and the Assumption Monastery with the cathedral of the same name is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
