Nasir Mosque

The Nasir Mosque, built in 2005 and located on Brougham Terrace, is the first purpose-built mosque in Hartlepool, County Durham, England. The mosque was built following the conversion of numerous Britons in Hartlepool to Islam, including the Imam of the mosque, Tahir Selby.

HMS Trincomalee is a Royal Navy Leda-class sailing frigate built shortly after the end of the Napoleonic Wars. She is now restored as a museum ship afloat in the National Museum of the Royal Navy, Hartlepool, England. HMS Trincomalee is situated 2,200 feet southeast of Nasir Mosque.
