Freedom Square or Liberty Square is located in the center of Tbilisi, Georgia, at the eastern end of Rustaveli Avenue. Under Imperial Russia it was known as Erivansky or Paskevich-Erivansky Square While part of the Soviet Union, it was Beria Square and Lenin Square.

The Museum of the Soviet Occupation is a history museum in Tbilisi, Georgia, documenting the seven decades of the Soviet rule in Georgia and dedicated to the history of the anti-occupational, national-liberation movement of Georgia, to the victims of the Soviet political repressions throughout this period. Museum of the Soviet Occupation is situated 280 metres north of Freedom Monument.
