The Potemkin Stairs, Potemkin Steps, or officially, the Prymorski Stairs, are a giant stairway in Odesa, Ukraine. They are considered a formal entrance into the city from the direction of the sea and are the best known symbol of Odesa. Potemkin Stairs is situated 290 metres southeast of Vorontsov Palace.

Moldavanka is a historical part of Odesa in the Odesa Oblast of southern Ukraine, located jointly in Khadzhybeiskyi and Prymorskyi urban districts. Before 1820 it was a settlement just outside Odesa, which later engulfed it. Moldavanka is situated 2½ km southwest of Vorontsov Palace.
