The Imam Ali Shrine, also known as the Mosque of Ali, is a Shi'ite mosque and shrine, located in Najaf, in the Najaf Governorate of Iraq. An-Najaf Stadium is a multi-use stadium located in Najaf, Iraq. It is currently used mostly for football matches and serves as the home stadium of Al-Najaf SC. Opened in 1970, the stadium holds 12,000 people. Alnajaf Stadium is situated 2½ km northeast of Imam Ali Shrine.
