Xizhimen station is an interchange station for Line 2, Line 4 and Line 13 of the Beijing Subway. Just outside this station is Beijing North railway station. Xizhimen is situated 270 metres southeast of CapitaMall Xizhimen.

Beijing Zoo is a zoological park in Xizhimen, Xicheng District, Beijing. Founded in 1906 during the late Qing dynasty, it is the oldest zoo in China and oldest public park in northern China. Beijing Zoo is situated 1½ km west of CapitaMall Xizhimen.

The Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, more often colloquially referred to as Xizhimen Church, is a Roman Catholic church located on the southern side at No. 130 of Xizhimen Neidajie in Beijing. It is commonly referred to as Xitang to the locals. Our Lady of Mount Carmel (West Church is situated 1¼ km east of CapitaMall Xizhimen.

Xinjiekou is a subdistrict of Xicheng District of Beijing, China. As of 2020, the subdistrict has a total population of 84,866. The subdistrict got its name from a section of road on the eastern portion of Xizhimennei Avenue, which used to be a river port but underwent land reclamation in 1438.
