Braine Castle is a castle in Braine-le-Château, Walloon Brabant, Wallonia, Belgium. In 649 the Abbess of Mons St. Waudru ceded her "land of Ittre", including Braine, to the Chapter of Mons. Braine Castle is situated 160 metres west of Parc du Château.

The Koningshooikt–Wavre Line, abbreviated to KW Line and often known as the Dyle Line after the Dijle river, was a 60-kilometre-long fortified line of defence prepared by the Belgian Army between Koningshooikt and Wavre which was intended to protect Brussels from a possible German invasion. K-W Line is situated 1½ km north of Parc du Château.
