Parc del Fòrum is a public park located between the district of Sant Martí in Barcelona and Sant Adrià de Besòs. It was built in 2004 following Elías Torres' and José Antonio Martínez Lapeñas's original design in order to hold the international cultural event Fòrum Universal de les Cultures, celebrated in 2004. Besós power station is a combined cycle thermoelectric plant located in Sant Adrià de Besòs, suburb of Barcelona, Spain. It consists of two 400 MW thermal units fueled with natural gas, was connected to the grid in 2002 and is owned 50% of Gas Natural and Endesa. Besós power station is situated 450 metres north of Moll del Parc de la Pau.
