Ba Son station is an underground Ho Chi Minh City Metro station on Line 1. Located in District 1 at the site of the former Ba Son Shipyard next to the Ba Son Bridge, the station opened on 22 December 2024. Ba Son is situated 110 metres southwest of Saigon Naval Shipyard.

The Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens, or known locally as The Zoo, is Vietnam's largest zoo and botanical garden. The Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens was commissioned by Admiral Pierre-Paul de La Grandière in 1864, and was opened to the public in 1869, making it one of the world's oldest continuously operating zoos. Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens is situated 600 metres northwest of Saigon Naval Shipyard.
