Prophet’s Mosque

The Prophet's Mosque is the second mosque built by the Islamic prophet Muhammad in Medina, after the Quba Mosque, as well as the second largest mosque and holiest site in Islam, after the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca, in the Saudi region of the Hejaz. Prophet’s Mosque is situated 660 metres south of Pedestrian Tunnel.

Al-Baqi Cemetery, also known as Jannat al-Baqi or Baqi al-Gharqad, is the first and oldest Islamic cemetery in Medina, located southeast of the Prophet's Mosque, in the Hejaz region of present-day Saudi Arabia. Maqbara Al Baqeea is situated 1 km south of Pedestrian Tunnel.

The Green Dome is a green-coloured dome built above the Sacred Prophetic Chamber enclosing the burial tombs of the Prophet Muhammad and the first two Rashidun caliphs, Abu Bakr and Umar. Green Dome is situated 770 metres south of Pedestrian Tunnel.
