Kolavai Lake

Kolavai Lake is a lake adjoining the town of Chengalpattu in Tamil Nadu, India. The lake is located about 60 kilometres from Chennai, and is close to Paranur railway station and Chengalpattu Junction railway station.

Paranur railway station is one of the railway stations of the Chennai Beach–Chengalpattu section of the Chennai Suburban Railway Network. It is situated at a distance of 55 km south of Chennai Beach terminus and has an elevation of 42 m above sea level.
