Penobscot Valley Country Club is a golf course in Orono, Maine designed by Donald Ross in 1924. In September 2017, the club was taken over by Penobscot Valley CC LLC.

Orono High School is a high school in Orono, Maine, United States. Founded in 1915, it is the only high school in Regional School Unit 26. As of 2020 it takes high school students who graduated from Indian Island School.
