Gaynes Hall is a Grade II* listed Georgian mansion set in 20 acres of parkland in the heart of the Cambridgeshire countryside. Located in the village of Perry, Huntingdon the building was requisitioned during the Second World War and was also the residence of Sir Oliver Cromwell for 21 years.

It is a reservoir with a circumference of about 16 km, is 21 m deep at maximum, and is the eighth largest reservoir in England by volume and the joint third largest by area at 6.27 km2.
