The current concrete station building was completed in 1934, which replaced the original wooden station building situated 900 m to the east, which was constructed in 1889; the latter site is now a goods yard. Kuopio railway station is situated 1 km south of Lidl Inkilänmäki.

The ice hall can hold a maximum number of 5,300 spectators in the stands. Kuopio Ice Hall is situated 1½ km southwest of Lidl Inkilänmäki.
