Caerphilly Mountain

Caerphilly Mountain lies between Cardiff and Caerphilly at the southern edge of the South Wales Coalfield. Its summit is 271 metres above sea-level. Since 1957 there had been a small wooden snack bar near to the summit.

Craig yr Allt is a hill in South Wales, overlooking Caerphilly to the east and the villages of Nantgarw and Taff's Well to the west. The Taff Ely Ridgeway Walk passes over the hill.

Caerphilly Miners‘ Centre for the Community

Caerphilly District Miners’ Hospital was a community hospital in Caerphilly, Wales which was commissioned to provide healthcare to the miners, who worked in the local pits, and their families. It closed and was converted to a community centre in 2011. Caerphilly Miners‘ Centre for the Community is situated 3,800 feet northeast of Blackbrook House.

Nantgarw is a village in the county borough of Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales, near Cardiff. From an electoral and administrative perspective Nantgarw falls within the ward of Taff's Well, a village some 2+1⁄2 miles south, but historically fell within the boundaries of Caerphilly, which is a major town located less than 2+1⁄2 miles to the east.
