The Fort de Suarlée is one of nine forts built as part of the Fortifications of Namur in the late 19th century in Belgium. It was built between 1888 and 1892 according to the plans of General Henri Alexis Brialmont. Fort de Suarlée is situated 4 km east of Cimetière de Temploux.

Temploux is a sub-municipality of the city of Namur located in the province of Namur, Wallonia, Belgium. It was a separate municipality until 1977. On 1 January 1977, it was merged into Namur. It lies in the Condroz 7 kilometres west of the city centre.

Spy is a village of Wallonia and a district of the municipality of Jemeppe-sur-Sambre, located in the province of Namur, Belgium. Here in 1886, in the Grotte de Spy or the Betche aux Roches cavern, Maximin Lohest and Marcel de Puydt found two nearly perfect Neanderthal skeletons at the depth of 16 feet, with numerous implements of the Mousterian type. Spy is situated 3 km west of Cimetière de Temploux.
