The Citadel of Cairo or Citadel of Saladin is a medieval Islamic-era fortification in Cairo, Egypt. Its construction was begun by Salah ad-Din in 1176 and continued by subsequent Egyptian rulers. Saladin Citadel of Cairo is situated 350 metres southeast of Bab of Ahmad Katkhuda.

It was built between 1356 and 1363 CE during the Bahri Mamluk period, commissioned by Sultan an-Nasir Hasan. Mosque-Madrassa of Sultan Hassan is situated 300 metres northwest of Bab of Ahmad Katkhuda.
