Shenzhen Bay Port is a juxtaposed border crossing and a port of entry and exit between mainland China and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, located geographically in Dongjiaotou, Shekou, which lies on the southwestern corner of the city of Shenzhen in Guangdong Province. ShenZhen Bay Control Point is situated 250 metres south of Shenzhen Bay Checkpoint Station.

Shenzhen Bay Sports Center, nicknamed Spring Cocoon for its shape, is a multiuse stadium in Shenzhen, China. It is used mostly for table tennis, swimming and soccer competitions. Shenzhen Bay Sports Center is situated 1½ km north of Shenzhen Bay Checkpoint Station.

Houhai station, formerly Nanshan Shopping Center station, is an interchange station between Shenzhen Metro Line 2, Line 11 and Line 13. Line 2 platforms opened on 28 December 2010, Line 11 platforms opened on 28 June 2016 and Line 13 platforms opened on 28 December 2024. Houhai Station is situated 2 km northwest of Shenzhen Bay Checkpoint Station.
