Angkor Archaeological Park, near Siem Reap in northern Cambodia, is one of the most important archaeological sites in Southeast Asia. It's also known for celebrating the engineering of the world's first hydraulic city and was the largest pre-industrial city on Earth, covering roughly 3,000 square kilometers.

Angkor Wat is a Theravada Buddhist temple complex and the largest religious complex in the world. Located on a site measuring 162.6 hectares within the ancient capital of Angkor, it was constructed between 1113 and 1150 CE during the reign of the Khmer king Suryavarman II as a Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu. Angkor Wat is situated 3½ km north of Cambodia-China Cultural and Creative Park.
