Wat Phlapphla Chai is a civil temple of Mahā Nikāya sect is believed to be built in Ayutthaya period during the reign of King Narai. Initially it was called Wat Khok as it was located on khok. Wat Phlapphla Chai is situated 140 metres southwest of ศาลาห้างทอง.

Debsirin School is a boys' secondary school in Thailand. Founded by King Chulalongkorn in 1885, its alumni include King Ananda Mahidol, Malaysia's founding father Tunku Abdul Rahman, more than 70 cabinet members, including five prime ministers, and numerous military leaders and dignitaries.
