The University Museum at the University of Tokyo is a museum in Tokyo, Japan. Although there had been museums affiliated with the University of Tokyo since its establishment in 1877, UMUT was established in 1966 to maintain, organise, and exhibit the vast collection of the university. The University Museum, the University of Tokyo is situated 190 metres west of Headquarters Building 2.

Akamon is a historical gate located in Bunkyō, Tokyo, Japan. One of two remaining gates of the Edo period daimyō mansions in the city. It was constructed in 1827 in the late Edo period in the residence of the Maeda clan in Edo. Red Gate is situated 300 metres northwest of Headquarters Building 2.

Kyū-Iwasaki-tei Garden is located in Taitō, Tokyo. It is the former estate of the Iwasaki clan who were the founders of Mitsubishi. The premises have three buildings: a Western-style house designed by British architect Josiah Conder, a Japanese house and a billiard house, and cover an area of about 17,000 square metres. Kyu-Iwasaki-Tei Garden is situated 420 metres east of Headquarters Building 2.
