Vefa Stadium

Vefa Stadı is a football stadium located in Fatih, Istanbul that is the home ground of Fatih Karagümrük. Vefa Stadı is occasionally in use for the promotional play-off encounters in lower-tier leagues, other sports including American football and for public holiday ceremonies.

Mesih Mehmed Pasha Mosque is a 16th-century Ottoman mosque in the Fatih district of Istanbul, Turkey. It was commissioned by one of Murad III's grand viziers, Mesih Mehmed Pasha, and designed by the imperial architect Mimar Sinan. Mesih Mehmed Pasha Mosque is situated 230 metres south of Vefa Stadium.

Fener, also spelled Phanar, is a quarter midway up the Golden Horn in the district of Fatih in Istanbul, Turkey. The Turkish name is derived from the Greek word "phanarion", meaning lantern, streetlight or lamppost; the neighborhood was so called because of a column topped with a lantern which stood here in the Byzantine period and was used as a street light or lighthouse.
