The Ca' d'Oro, or Palazzo Santa Sofia, is a palace on the Grand Canal in , northern . Ca' d'Oro or Cadoro translates to "House of Gold" or "Golden House" in English because of the gilt and polychrome external decorations that once adorned its walls.

The is the oldest of the four bridges spanning the in , Italy. Connecting the sestieri of and , it has been rebuilt several times since its first construction as a pontoon bridge in 1173, and is now a significant tourist attraction in the city. is situated 340 metres south of Santa Sofia.
