Chapultepec is Mexico City's principal park, "the green lung of the city". This hill has been important throughout the city's history as the perch of fortresses and palaces, and the manicured forest surrounding it now holds many of Mexico's greatest cultural treasures.

The Parque México, officially Parque San Martín, is a large urban park located in Colonia Hipódromo in the Condesa area of Mexico City. It is recognized by its Art Deco architecture and decor as well as being one of the larger green areas in the city.

The Angel of Independence, most commonly known by the shortened name El Ángel and officially known as Monumento a la Independencia, is a victory column on a roundabout on the major thoroughfare of Paseo de la Reforma in downtown Mexico City. Angel of Independence is situated 1½ km north of Parque España.

The Condesa and Roma district of Mexico City is a residential and restaurant area on both sides of Insurgentes avenue between Viaducto Miguel Alemán in the south and Avenida Chapultepec in the north.

According to the newspaper Reforma, there are at least 5,000 Koreans living in Zona Rosa and about 6,000 total in Colonia Juárez, the larger officially recognized neighborhood of which the Zona Rosa is a part of.
