Chapultepec

Chapultepec is Mexico City's principal park, "the green lung of the city". This hill has been important throughout the city's history as the perch of fortresses and palaces, and the manicured forest surrounding it now holds many of Mexico's greatest cultural treasures.

The Chapultepec aqueduct was built to provide potable water to Tenochtitlan, now known as Mexico City. Tenochtitlan was the capital of the Triple Aztec Alliance empire. Chapultepec aqueduct is situated 170 metres west of Universidad de Las Américas.
Angel of Independence

The Angel of Independence, most commonly known by the shortened name El Ángel and officially known as Monumento a la Independencia, is a victory column on a roundabout on the major thoroughfare of Paseo de la Reforma in downtown Mexico City. Angel of Independence is situated 550 metres north of Universidad de Las Américas.
