The Democracy Monument is a public monument in the city centre of Bangkok, capital of Thailand. It occupies a traffic circle on the wide east–west Ratchadamnoen Avenue, at the intersection of Dinso Road. Democracy Monument is situated 120 metres northwest of Ratchadamnoen Art Center.

Wat Ratchanatdaram is a Buddhist temple located at the intersection between Ratchadamnoen Klang and Maha Chai Road, in Phra Nakhon district, Bangkok. Meaning Temple of the Royal Niece, the temple was built to the order of King Nangklao for his granddaughter, Princess Somanass Waddhanawathy in 1846. Wat Ratchanatdaram is situated 210 metres southeast of Ratchadamnoen Art Center.
