The archaeological site of Delphi is a UNESCO World Heritage site near the modern village of the same name in West Central Greece, on the southwestern slope of Mount Parnassus, which is part of a mountain range north of the gulf of Corinth.

The Tholos of Delphi is among the ancient structures of the Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia in Delphi. The circular temple, a tholos, shares the immediate site with other ancient foundations of the Temple of Athena Pronaia, all located less than a mile east of the main ruins at Delphi, in the modern Greek regional unit of Phocis.

The treasury of the Massaliots was situated in the Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia. It looked like a small temple in antis with two columns on the façade; it was constructed of Parian marble and among its remarkable features were its "Aeolian" capitals.
