Hawaii Children's Discovery Center is a children's museum located near Honolulu, Hawaii's Kaka'ako Waterfront Park. Founded in 1989, the 38,000 sq ft museum receives over 200,000 visits from children and their families every year. Hawaii Children’s Discovery Center is situated 200 metres east of Kakaʻako Waterfront Park.

The ʻIolani Palace was the royal residence of the rulers of the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi beginning with Kamehameha III under the Kamehameha Dynasty and ending with Queen Liliʻuokalani under the Kalākaua Dynasty. Iolani Palace is situated 1½ km north of Kakaʻako Waterfront Park.
