Conwy Castle is a fortification in Conwy, located in North Wales. It was built by Edward I, during his conquest of Wales, between 1283 and 1287. Constructed as part of a wider project to create the walled town of Conwy, the combined defences cost around £15,000, a massive sum for the period. Conwy Castle is situated 1 mile south of Deganwy station.

Deganwy Castle was an early stronghold of Gwynedd in Deganwy, at the mouth of the River Conwy, now in Conwy county borough, north Wales. It sits at an elevation of 110 m on a volcanic plug in an area of limestone known as the Vardre. Deganwy Castle is situated 1,900 feet northeast of Deganwy station.
