It is approximately 80 feet tall, 16 feet square and clearly visible on the skyline from the Cardiff–Crewe railway line, just north of Craven Arms, or from the A49 Shrewsbury to Hereford road. Flounders’ Folly is situated 2 miles southeast of Charlmead.
