Newport Docks is the collective name for a group of docks in the city of Newport, south-east Wales. By the eighteenth century there were a number of wharves on the west shore of the River Usk; iron and coal were the principal outward traffic. Newport Docks is situated 720 feet north of South Dock.

The Uskmouth power stations refers to a series of two coal-fired power stations at the mouth of the River Usk in the south-east of Newport, Wales. The first of the two stations, Uskmouth A power station, was built in the 1940s and demolished in 2002. Uskmouth power stations is situated 1 mile southeast of South Dock.
