The Indira Gandhi Arena, formerly known as the Indraprashtha Stadium, is located at the Indraprastha Estate in the eastern part of New Delhi. It is the largest indoor sports arena in India and among the largest in Asia. Indira Gandhi Arena is situated 350 metres southwest of Yamuna Velodrome.

Raj Ghat is a memorial complex in New Delhi, India. The first memorial was dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi where a black marble platform was raised to mark the spot of his cremation on 31 January 1948 and consists of an eternal flame at one end. Raj Ghat and associated memorials is situated 1¼ km north of Yamuna Velodrome.
