The Cook County Jail is a county jail of Cook County, Illinois, located in South Lawndale, Chicago. It is operated by the Cook County Sheriff's Office. Cook County Jail is situated 1,400 feet east of Division VII.

Carter Henry Harrison Technical High School was a public 4–year high school located in the South Lawndale neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Opened and operated by the Chicago Public Schools district, Harrison was founded in 1910 as a branch of Farragut Career Academy. Saucedo Scholastic Academy is situated 3,000 feet north of Division VII.
