The Rotokawa Power Station is a geothermal power station owned and operated by Mercury Energy. It is located approximately 10 kilometres north east of Taupō in New Zealand. Rotokawa Power Station is situated 1 km east of Nga Awa Purua Power Station.

Aratiatia Power Station is a hydroelectric power station on the Waikato River, in the North Island of New Zealand. It is the first hydroelectric power station on the Waikato River, and is located 13 kilometres downstream of Lake Taupō. Aratiatia Power Station is situated 3½ km west of Nga Awa Purua Power Station.
