The cemetery is listed on the Cadw/ICOMOS Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in Wales, where it is designated Grade II for "its historic interest as a small Victorian garden cemetery". Cwmgelli Cemetery is situated 1,600 feet southwest of Parc Llewellyn.
