Newcastle railway station

Newcastle railway station is a heritage-listed former railway station located on the Newcastle line, serving the Hunter Valley city of Newcastle. It was the main railway station and terminus station prior to the curtailment of the Newcastle railway line. Newcastle railway station is situated 600 metres southwest of Port of Newcastle.

The Newcastle Civic Theatre, also known as The Civic, is a heritage-listed building located on Hunter Street, Newcastle, Australia. Opened in 1929, the 1520-seat theatre is now the venue for a wide range of musicals, plays, concerts and dance events each year and is the city's oldest surviving theatre. Civic Theatre is situated 1½ km west of Port of Newcastle.
