St Helen and St Giles is a church and landmark of Rainham and is the oldest building in the London Borough of Havering. The church retains many of its original features, for example the round-headed arches.

Rainham Hall is a Grade II* listed Georgian house, owned by the National Trust, in Rainham, in the London Borough of Havering. Built in 1729 for Captain John Harle, the house was transferred to the National Trust in 1949.

Rainham railway station is on the London, Tilbury and Southend line, serving the town of Rainham in the London Borough of Havering, east London. Historically in the county of Essex, in official literature the station is sometimes shown as Rainham in order to distinguish it from the station of the same name in Kent. Rainham railway station is situated 580 feet south of Church of St Helen and St Giles.

Rainham is a suburb of East London, England, in the London Borough of Havering. Historically an ancient parish in the county of Essex, Rainham is 13.6 miles east of Charing Cross and is surrounded by a residential area, which has grown from the historic village, to the north and a commercial area, fronting the River Thames, to the south.
