Whitehawk Hill is a 50.3-hectare Local Nature Reserve in Brighton, East Sussex. It is owned and managed by Brighton and Hove City Council. At the top of the hill is Whitehawk Camp, a Neolithic causewayed enclosure which is a Scheduled Monument.

Woodingdean Water Well

The Woodingdean Water Well is the deepest hand-dug well in the world, at 390 metres deep. It was dug to provide water for a workhouse. Work on the well started in 1858, and was finished four years later, on 16 March 1862. Woodingdean Water Well is situated 1 mile northeast of Brighton Recycling Centre.
