The Araneta Coliseum, also currently known by naming rights sponsorship as Smart Araneta Coliseum, is an indoor multi-purpose sports arena that is part of the Araneta City in the Cubao area of Quezon City, Philippines. Araneta Coliseum is situated 240 metres south of Araneta Center–Cubao station.

Araneta Center–Cubao station, also known as Araneta–Cubao or simply as Cubao, rarely known as Araneta, is an elevated Metro Rail Transit station located on the MRT Line 3 system in Cubao, Quezon City. Araneta Center–Cubao station is situated 440 metres southwest of Araneta Center–Cubao station.

Ali Mall is a shopping mall at the Araneta City in Cubao, Quezon City. Standing along P. Tuazon Boulevard and bounded by major roads along the Araneta City complex, the mall is located across SM Araneta City, and is owned by The Araneta City Inc, a subsidiary of the Araneta Group. Ali Mall is situated 520 metres southeast of Araneta Center–Cubao station.

Cubao is the commercial heart of Quezon City, at the intersection of EDSA and Aurora Boulevard. While long overshadowed by North EDSA with its large malls, the districts's status as the traditional shopping center of Quezon City refuses to die; the Araneta family, who owns Araneta City, has begun a redevelopment project for the area to return it to its former glory.
